Ibiza Beach Club music fest, “Too Thirsty” after Ironman 70.3

Cebu is gearing up to be the ground zero for sports and celebrities when triathletes and A-list personalities come for the  Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship from 5 to 7 August 2016. Mactan Island has been the host venue of this prestigious triathlon since 2012. With its tropical setting and wide stretch of white sand beach and pristine waters, the island has become a leading attraction and the perfect place for the athletes to rest and relax.

Adding energy and excitement to the action-packed weekend are the after-race activities around the area. As with any visiting tourist, one should not miss out on the afternoon revelry and nightly entertainment at Ibiza Beach Club, the most hip and happening party venue located in Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu.

On 7 August, Sunday, Ibiza Beach Club opens its doors to let each triathlete and participant celebrate with a cool spin of music and fun. As the clock strikes “Too Thirsty” at 2.30 pm, cocktails, beers and liquors are given on a 50% discount. Guests may chill out by the lounge area, net pods and Jacuzzi as the DJ plays party beats all the way until 5.30 pm. The music marathon continues in the evening with entertainment from the guest bands and the hotel’s Show Team, followed by dance tracks until 2.30 am. Dinner is served from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm, featuring a tapas menu and a Balearic-inspired, signature 15-course grill.

The 15-course grill is an indulgence with grilled meats and seafood, all barbecued and basted with Balearic marinades and spices. Amongst the delectable favorites are filet mignon, juicy rib-eye steak, baby back ribs and buttery rock lobsters. Served tableside with salads, cured meats and Pao de Quejo, guests are sure to enjoy these filling treats to their heart’s content.

Everyone is also invited to watch the 2016 Rio Olympic Games that are shown at The Forum, the hotel’s sports bar located next to the pool lounge. All the featured games and activities are posted at the main lobby.
