Lighting the Magico Natale at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila

Venetian celebrations have just started as Marco Polo Ortigas Manila lights it Venetian-inspired Christmas tree.

Held last November 24 at the hotel’s sky lobby, the gathering was welcomed with the voices of the Sisters of Mary Boystown with a set of Christmas carols. Guests were then greeted by event host, Gino Quillamor, and the Hotel’s General Manager, Frank Reichenbach, who welcomed corporate clients, in-house guests, and media partners for gracing the event.

“We are very much delighted to be unravel the magic of Christmas inspired by the colour, grandeur and fantasy of Venetian holidays with everyone. This year, we take you back in time to Marco Polo’s native city, Venice,” says Frank Reichenbach.

Just as the season of giving is around the corner, the hotel unveils its Wings of Hope, a tree consists of Philippine Eagle stuffed toys. Children from its partner charity, Riversprings School, were present to receive the first five eagle stuffed toy. Together with Frontier Ortigas Hotel and Resort Corp. president, Lily Pedrosa, and celebrity Max Collins, the tree was that aims to save and preserve the Philippine Eagle, at the same time bring a smile to less fortunate kids for just Php 600.

To formally start the festive season, Lily Pedrosa, President of Frontier Ortigas Hotel and Resort Corporation and Frank Reichenbach, General Manager of Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, together with the kids from Riverspring School, lit the Venetian-themed inspired Magico Natale Christmas Tree.

Guests were then delighted with a performance from the kids of Riversprings School, consisting of 20 pre-schoolers, dancing through Christmas songs. It was then followed by the lighting of the 25 feet Venetian-inspired Christmas tree by the Hotel’s General Manager, Ms. Lily Pedrosa, and the kids, which brought a magical glow for the festive season.
