Crate and Barrel celebrates Spring and Summer with three collections: Casa Modern, Crate Modern, and Apartment Modern – each with a distinct look that welcomes modern living in your space.
Casa Modern, the first trend, is a return to Crate & Barrel’s roots with an exciting explosion of color that elevates your home to the artisanal level.
The collection is a mix of LA hip and Mexican modern – artisan ceramics and textiles, rustic woods, treated metal and recycled glass.

Faye Cream Terra Cotta Vase: The Faye vase is full of subtle beauty – the elegantly pleated form evokes seed pods, parasols and paper pendant lights. A creamy white glaze reveals delicate crackles, while the earthy painted rings on the rim and base allude to its terra cotta foundation. 
Lina Dinnerware Collection: Our speckle-glazed stoneware is a testament to the artistry of the Portuguese artisans who hand paint each piece. Slightly rustic in shape, the collection has the look of handthrown pottery, enhanced with free-flowing stripes along the edge. 
Nico Palm Melamine Platter and Salad Plate: Resembling crackle-glazed stoneware, the organically shaped platter and salad plate layer a colorful array of freely brushed palm leaves that look as if they were hand painted. 
Mireya Vases: Portuguese artisans handcraft all the terra cotta vases in the Mireya collection, finishing them with a crazed glazing that gives each one a unique look. Walker Natural Dining Table & Sideboard: Designer Blake Tovin’s inventive use of recessed detail floats a simple, clean and modern tabletop and sideboard in a design that elevates the rustic beauty of natural wood with artful architecture.
