Carmen’s Best Shares Joy with an Elevated Look & Bigger Plans Ahead

Carmen’s Best, a pioneer of uncompromised quality in locally-produced gourmet ice cream, celebrated the joy of giving one’s best when it held its Day of Joy celebration last Oct. 16 at the Marquis Events Place, Bonifacio Global City. 

Carmen’s Best Gourmet Ice Cream sets an unwavering standard of quality with its #NoShortCuts approach, refusing to compromise with substitutions or shortcuts when selecting premium ingredients.

Using 100% fresh, 100% local milk from their joyful cows in Laguna, Carmen’s Best is committed to delivering the highest of joys that only fresh milk can bring. 

This meticulous process has fostered a devoted following throughout the years, drawn by the brand’s popular flavors Strawberry, Salted Caramel, Malted Milk, Dark Chocolate, and Brazilian Coffee, among many others.

The Day of Joy event brought to life the brand’s main belief that “There’s no better joy than giving your best” as they shared the best joys with their beloved customers and partners, with ice cream tasting, frozen dessert demonstrations, creating their own joy filters and other activities that captured the joyful mood on that day.

The Day of Joy event included interactive games and activities for guests, as well as a live demo and dessert making activity with Chef Sharwin Tee incorporating Carmen’s Best ice cream.

Among the main highlights of the event was the grand reveal of Carmen’s Best’s new brand identity, exuding an elevated and joyful look, with each element of the design telling an essential part of its story – the freshness and preciousness of milk, and the uncompromising quality, generosity and abundance of real ingredients found in every pint and cup. The change in packaging was also done for sustainability purposes, as the brand now switches to an all-paper packaging. 

During the program, Carmen’s Best first two digital films were shared illustrating their  unwavering commitment to the #NoShortCuts philosophy, as well as a take on how the brand’s tagline is brought to life in precious moments best celebrated with nothing less than the best ice cream.  

Furthermore, the brand also shared a preview of its new store in SM Mall of Asia and a refreshed look of their Rockwell store. Apart from that, their revamped e-commerce hub was unveiled, offering the ease of ordering your ice cream online. Before the event ended, guests were delighted with a performance from the Ryan Cayabyab Chorale as the brand unveiled its limited-edition Christmas flavors for the holiday season.

As a brand that strongly upholds the value of craftsmanship, excellence, and its commitment to quality, Carmen’s Best — now under majority ownership of Metro Pacific Agro Ventures (MPAV) — unveiled its bigger mission behind the push behind Filipino dairy. 

According to Jovy Hernandez, President and CEO of Metro Pacific Agro Ventures,  “Our Best goes beyond just offering proudly local, world-class quality Ice Cream made from 100% Fresh milk, guided by our no shortcuts philosophy. Our Best also means investing in the future to fulfill our vision of being present as a full dairy line offering ice cream, milk, yogurt, cheese, butter and other milk derivatives that are 100% local and 100% fresh. Our Best also extends to supporting local farmers, partnering with the academe for research, and collaborating with the government.
