Paskong Pinoy at Pan Pacific Manila’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
Pan Pacific Manila celebrated the start of the festive season with a Filipino-themed Christmas Lighting Ceremony last 4 November 2015 at the Pan Pacific Manila hotel lobby. The Christmas
Lighting event, an annual tradition of the hotel, was attended by Assitant Secretary Eddie Nuque from the office of Malacañang, hotel guests, corporate clients, media partners, and associates in the travel and hospitality industry.
Pan Pacific Manila’s General Manager, Mr. Richard Masselin, welcomed the guests and lead the lighting of the Christmas tree which was adorned by different ornaments made with native products in the Philippines such as, sinamay ribbons, baskets made of dried pandan leaves, raffia fiber, nito balls and parols made of capiz shells. Some hotel associates also wore traditional terno dresses and barong tagalong which made the Filipino-inspired event even more festive. After the tree was lighted, the crowd was serenaded by the the hotel’s very own Butler Chorale with Filipino Christmas Carols.
