Online Influencers Honored at Midas Christmas Lighting Ceremony
Midas Hotel and Casino officially embraced the season flourishing of joy and giving with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony held at the hotel’s designer lobby. The Midas holiday tree is bejeweled with brisk red and gold color accents of Christmas trinkets and ornaments that radiate happiness, love, and compassion. The 5-foot tall nutcracker standing on-guard the Nativity and ginger bread houses reckons with the astounding spirit of the holidays.
Some of the industry’s finest personalities including online influencers, media partners, and Midas executives graced the event with a celebratory toast led by Mr. Aris Alcuaz (Resident Manager), Ms. Cielo Ortega-Reboredo (Director of Sales and Marketing), Mr. Erwin Doña (Associate Director for PR & Brand), Ms. Mylene Co (Board of Director, HEPI), Ms. Margie Moran-Floirendo (President, Ballet Philippines), and Hon. Emi Calixto – Rubiano (District Representative – Pasay City). The majestic 25-foot tree glimmers with the display of lights, music, Santa, and festivity while the Ramon Magsaysay chorale bursted with harmonious angelic voices echoed through the lobby and complements with the powerhouse voices of Midas’ resident artists namely Dessa, Jimmy Marquez, Nino Alejandro, and the Hexagon Band as they serenade the guests with classic familiar carols and well-loved Christmas melodies. TWG Tea served as the official bar host for the night along with Artisan Cellars and Titania Wine Cellar for the celebratory sparkling wines.
Midas continues to acknowledge the passion and competence of Filipino talents with an excerpt of Ballet Philippines’ Peter Pan. Likewise, social media influencers in the likes of fashion and lifestyle bloggers JP Singson of jponfashionspeed.com, Seph Cham of josephcham.com, Nicole Aguinaldo of Girl About Town, and AJ Dee of The Filo Dapper were given due recognition for their involvement and significant contribution to the millennials. Indeed, the celebration brings to life Mr. Alcuaz’ ceremonial toast words, as to quote, “behold as everything turns more beautiful in red and gold.” Thus sending off the night with a Merry Midas Christmas!
Midas also launched “A Midas Christmas to Remember,” a collection of room and restaurants offerings this season.
Midas’ Christmas tree and holiday decors are on display until Dec. 31, 2015.
