Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu’s festive offers to welcome the Year of The Rooster

Chinese New Year is traditionally the time for families to gather for a feast and embrace the coming year. On 27 and 28 January 2017, partake in any of the holiday buffets at Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu. Adorned in Oriental trimmings and auspicious colours and ornaments, The Sails restaurant is preparing a wide spread of Chinese delicacies, served for dinner on 27 January and brunch on the 28.  The buffet menu includes Peking duck and other roasted specialities, soup, noodles, sweets and fortune cookies, as well as free-flowing Tsing Tao beer and Chinese tea, to name a few. Buffet rate is PHP1,988 nett per person, withchildren aged 6 to 12 receiving 50% off.

Guests are also invited to watch a Chinese folk dance show scheduled on the 27 at the Beach Garden, and the Dragon and Lion Dance around the hotel on the 28 January. Art classes at the Beach Garden are open and free for children and parents, through which they will enjoy learning how to paint and create paper crafts inspired by Chinese culture and tradition.
