SM Hypermarket’s Streetfood Festival Grand Finale
Great food and great fun highlighted the recent SM Hypermarket Streetfood Festival Grand Finale at the SM Mall of Asia. This exciting foodie event was also successfully showcased at SM Fairview, SM Valenzuela, SM Bicutan, and SM Molino.
The festival’s finale was grander and tastier with the presence of celebrity chefs who shared especially prepared recipes with the audience. Chef Sandy Daza prepared Chopsuey with Maggi Magic Sarap, while Chef Rob Pengson created Creamy Chicken Adobo with Nestle’s Cream.
Chef Kaiser Padilla cooked Streetfood Medly with Crema Curry Sauce using Alaska products; Lynne Esguerra teamed up wih GMA 7’s Love Anover for their special Chicken Knorr Buffalo Wings; Rey Imson prepared hot and healthy favorites using Frabelle products – Premium Hotdog Japanese Dynamite and Salad Greens with Cheezy Tuna Nuggets served with Mango Dill Dressing.
Chef Menoy Gimenez made a tasty Kare Kare with ready to use CDO Beef Tripe; while Erik Mendoza demonstrated his Farm Fresh Pork Siomai recipe.
Celebrity appearances also highlighted the Streetfood Festival Grand Finale led by the PBA Purefood Team Star Hotshots Mark Pingris, Ian Sangalang, and Allein Maliksi. Xian Lim, Betong, Marlo Mortel, Diego Loyzaga, and Showtime’s #Hashtags were among the food sponsor’s celebrity guests who graced the event and took photos with fans.
The Finale also announced the lucky winner of the Streetfood Festival’s P100,000 shopping spree, Joven Amores of Mandaluyong.
But food was the star of the event, with over 40 booths of delicious food and irresistible deals. There were streetfood crowd favorites from SM Eats, Southern Dairy, and Baga Manila; as well as grilled Pinoy delights, American burger and pancakes, Japanese sushi and tempura, Vietnamese spring rolls, Korean bibimbab, Mexican nachos and tacos, Mediterranean steaks, and Middle Eastern shawarmas.
Event sponsors Nestle, Unilever, Purefood, CDO, Del Monte, Alaska, Farm Fresh, Frabelle, P&G, Bounty Fresh, RFM Selecta, Delimondo, Tulip, Mama Sita, Kopiko, and Minute Maid made the event more exciting with irresistible deals for food lovers.
