Chooks-to-Go Turns Office to Kitchen for Batangas Evacuees
Chooks-to-Go converted its office in Batangas to a kitchen to help the Batangueños in need, today February 26, 2021 from 1:00 am up until 6:00 am, the people of Chooks-to-Go Batangas cooked warm meals which were distributed to the three evacuation centers in the province, namely in Barangays Aya, Tumaway, and Poblacion 5.
Just like last year, the people living in Taal Lake had to be evacuated due to fears of another Taal eruption. With food running short in the centers, Chooks-to-Go answered the call of duty.
Over a thousand evacuees received meal packs from Chooks-to-Go.
Over a thousand packs of Chooks-to-Go packed meals were distributed to the 1,030 evacuees from the three barangays. And it will not stop until the families can come back to their respective homes.
Employees prepare meals to be distributed to evacuees in Batangas.
