At Gateway Mall 2, a stunning effigy will serve as the centerpiece of the Quantum Skyview, symbolizing the spirit of the Wood Snake.

A Horoscope Exhibit at Gateway Mall 1 and 2 and Farmers Plaza will offer insights into the zodiac predictions for 2025, providing guidance on love, career, health, and luck. Visitors can enjoy interactive displays that highlight the strengths and opportunities of each Chinese zodiac sign.

Exciting Festivities

Araneta City’s Lunar New Year celebrations will come alive with traditional Dragon and Lion Dance Performances on January 28 and 29, spreading dynamic energy and driving away negativity to welcome prosperity.

Come January 29, Chinese New Year, the festivities go into full swing across all Araneta City malls. At Gateway Mall 2, visitors can enjoy a Chinese Acrobats Show, a cultural performance by Students from The Philippine Chung Hua School, a Tarot Card Reading session, and a Photo Booth. Gateway Mall 1 will host a Jigsaw Puzzle Competition, while Farmers Plaza will feature a Zodiac Runway Costume Contest. 

Over at Ali Mall, a Chinese New Year Prosperity Bazaar will offer lucky charms, festive treats, and symbolic good fortune items from January 22 to 31. Reading and Feng Shui Consultation with Master Ang on January 29 to gain insights into their fortunes for the year ahead.

Adding excitement to the celebrations is the “Hidden Red Envelope Hunt” Challenge, an interactive digital promo where social media live streams will drop clues leading to a hidden red envelope somewhere in Araneta City. The first person to find it will win cinema passes for two.
