Whimsical Christmas Tree Lighting at Diamond Hotel

The sweetest Christmas celebration is going to happen at Diamond Hotel as they usher in the yuletide season with the most-awaited Christmas Tree Lighting extravaganza this November 3 at 5PM at the hotel’s lobby. Featuring a whimsical Candyland, watch the spectacular 25-feet tall Christmas tree come alight and please your eyes with giant candy canes and peppermint candies in swirls of green and red.

To celebrate the annual tree lighting event, there will be special performances by the Centex Children’s Choir and Regina Coeli Choir.  The Bayanihan, The National Folk Dance Company of the Philippines, will also be dancing to Christmas tunes.

“More than kicking off the holiday spirit with this celebration, we transformed the hotel into a magical place for families to create sweet and fond memories that are meant to be treasured” as stated by Vanessa Ledesma-Suatengco, the general manager of the hotel.

The hotel will also continue its tradition of giving hope to the children of Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (Centex) of Children’s Hour Foundation for their scholarship programs. Guests can donate to the foundation by purchasing holiday ornaments at the lobby and  the names of the donors will be placed with the ornaments as a special way of thanking them for their act of kindness.   In addition to the charity drive for education, a percentage of the sales from the Lobby Goodie Shop will go to the beneficiaries of Cameleon Association for the rehabilitation of abused and disadvantaged children, which is a project in partnership with Zonta Club of Makati Ayala (ZCMA). Through this simple gesture of sharing, you will make a difference to these children’s lives. Christmas is not only about merry-making and festivities, but also a wonderful time for giving.
