Ilonggo Flavours shout “Kaon ‘Ta sa Cucina!” this August

Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Cucina showcases choice Ilonggo flavours from 1 to 18 August, as part of its ongoing commitment to feature local flavours on a global level. Foodies from all over the metro can enjoy some of the province’s favourite dishes, including La Paz Batchoy, the Valenciana, and seafood specialties like the talaba and the seasonal diwal.

Like other Philippine provinces, Iloilo’s gastronomic interpretations stem from its unique geography. From its sprawling midlands to picturesque beaches, Ilonggo cuisine boasts of Panay Island’s access to Nature’s rich bounty of fresh ingredients.
